on trust with a depth that goes beyond the superficial.

and navigate the physical world. Dentistry is very much a key to your well being

A simple example is that of an infected tooth. You may have a localized pain
or a diffuse radiating pain that refers pain further than any direct anatomical
relationship can account for. Your physical well-being is worn down affecting
your mindfulness and ultimately your soulfulness.
A soul and dentistry? Transcendent dentistry is a deep interpersonal
relationship that is beyond that of the hardware aspect of dentistry. Is a filling
just a filling and a denture just a denture? It matters at and to the soul level.
My most treasured experiences in dentistry are those that touch my soul. Until
you have it, it is hard to describe out of the experience, but when you have it
you will know it.
